Teens Against Fast Fashion (TAFF)

Teens Against Fast Fashion is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable fashion choices and to fixing the environmental damage caused by fast fashion, in turn creating a healthier world for future generations.

Through TAFF, I have built a team of 227 Ambassadors, who have assisted in coordinating 736 events in their communities, such as clothing drives, upcycling workshops, and creating meaningful change in how young people think about what they wear. TAFF is more than a movement; it’s a reminder that our everyday choices matter, and that youth voices can reshape the future of fashion.

How TAFF Works

I created a system to keep our Ambassadors connected and engaged by giving each access to a shared Google Drive filled with activity ideas, presentation materials, and resources. Ambassadors are encouraged to complete one activity per month, log it in our tracker, and share a photo. To foster community engagement, TAFF has 6 group chats and has begun implementing monthly Zoom calls to enable Ambassadors to connect, share ideas, and make friends while taking direct action within their areas. TAFF is a growing community, and day by day, activity by activity, we are one step closer to making real change.
